50-PIECE LIMITED EDITION WATCH IN ETHICAL WHITE GOLD
In its 25 years of existence, Chopard Manufacture has consistently demonstrated its persistent quest for innovation and excellence, vividly exemplified in the development of its mechanical self-winding flying tourbillon L.U.C Calibre 96.24-L. Since 2019, this movement has been powering a few limited series of the L.U.C watch collection with subtle interpretations intended for devotees of noble watchmaking. At just 3.30 mm thick, and equipped with Chopard Twin Technology, based on two stacked barrels and a 22-carat micro rotor, the L.U.C Calibre 96.24-L guarantees 65 hours of power reserve. Certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres – the ultimate guarantee of the focus on precision so important to Chopard – this exceptional calibre now powers the new ultra-thin L.U.C Flying T Twin watch in ethical white gold. In a further reminder of Chopard’s keen attention to detail, each component is adorned with Côtes de Genève.
EQUALLY BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT
One of the thinnest flying tourbillon watches on the market, the L.U.C Flying T Twin luxury watch is distinguished by its remarkable appearance. Equally beautiful inside and out and with its classically pure design, this exceptional timepiece features a blue dial obtained with galvanic treatment and graced with a hand-guilloché honeycomb pattern – a reference to Louis-Ulysse Chopard’s first logotype symbolising a beehive. A snailed motif adorns the chapter ring punctuated by understated rhodium-plated hour-markers. With a large-diameter opening at 6 o’clock offering a view right through the movement, the lightness of the flying tourbillon is used to create an effect of transparency and depth, while the small seconds hand appears above the tourbillon carriage. A hand-sewn blue alligator leather strap lined with cognac alligator leather sets the perfect finishing touch to the eye-catching aesthetic and technical prowess confirmed by the right to bear the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.
